Pictured below are the volunteers from Ashland Christian Emergency Services at the annual thank you luncheon held at Ashland Christian Church. We all do different things. Some work in the store where free food and clothing is provided. Some collect food and clothing and prepare them for people to come and get them. Others take phone calls and respond to needs in the community. Lorna Smith (last row, far right), of Covenant Home care, is one of six volunteers who provide free rides to residents in the Ashland area who do not have transportation and cannot afford transportation services.
